A four-day climate change protest called the Big One is taking place in London. The organisers, Extinction Rebellion, predicted 50,000 people would join street demonstrations on Friday, April 21, the first day of the event.
There were rallies, speeches and parades in and around Westminster.
The second day of the event coincided with Earth Day.
