Police fired tear gas, water cannons and stun grenades at protesters in the Georgian capital Tbilisi late on Wednesday.
Authorities tried to break up the second straight day of protests against a "foreign agents" law drafted by the Parliament.
Georgia's ruling party withdrew the controversial bill on Thursday morning. If passed, this bill would have given an authoritarian shift to the government.
