Updated:

Russia has declared its intention to target Ukraine's power, water and other vital infrastructure in its latest phase of the war.

Russia launched a massive missile attack on Saturday, targeting critical energy infrastructure. Ukrainian authorities said the strikes have left hundreds of thousands of people in central and western parts of the country without electricity.

Using drones and missiles alike, Moscow has intensified its strikes on Ukraine's power stations, water supply systems and other key infrastructure across the country.
