Video. Whale watchers have close encounter with feeding humpback whales

Passengers on board a whale watching boat were treated to a close encounter with a pod of humpback whales in Monterey Bay last Friday.

Feeding on anchovies close to the boat, the humpbacks put on a spectacular show for the whale watchers.

One of the whales got close enough and touched the side of the boat.
