Heavy rain and hail fell in many parts of China on Sunday and Monday, while flooded roads severely disrupted traffic.
A rainstorm hit Xiamen City, East China, on Monday morning, which prompted the local meteorological department to issue the first high-level weather warning of the year.
Some flooded roads were temporarily closed for safety reasons and a total of 118 flights were delayed due to the bad weather.
The heavy rain is expected to continue on Tuesday.
