U.S. and South Korean marines have been training to fight in freezing temperatures as the two allies hold a series of joint winter warfare exercises.
More than 300 Marines took part in the training, on the ski slopes of Pyeongchang, the venue for the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The military exercises come amid mounting speculation that North Korea is getting ready to test an intercontinental ballistic missile, in defiance of UN resolutions.
