A pair of healthy twin giant pandas were born on Monday at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Chengdu, capital of southwest China’s Sichuan Province, becoming the first twins this year across the world. Delivered by the giant panda named Ya Li, the cubs, both female, weigh 144 grams and 113 grams respectively. Breeders at the base are closely observing the newborns.
