Set in the heart of Europe, Switzerland welcomes millions of international visitors each year. The Alps cover 60% of the country, which is also home to more than 1,500 lakes.

Lilly starts her journey in Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, known for its charming Old Town and beautiful lake.
Her first stop is the Polybahn, a historic funicular that has been carrying passengers up the hillside for over a century. At the top, she takes in panoramic views of the city.
The viewpoint sits next to ETH Zurich, one of Switzerland’s most prestigious universities. A centre for science and technology, it once taught Albert Einstein.
Zurich is home to more than 1,200 fountains and numerous public gardens. One of them is Lindenhof Tree Court, an ancient hilltop public square considered to be the birthplace of the city.
Zurich is also closely linked to one of Switzerland's famous exports, Swiss chocolate. Inside Switzerland’s Chocolate Museum, Lilly visits the world's largest chocolate fountain and learns how to make her own chocolate creation.
After exploring the city, Lilly takes a boat across Lake Lucerne and checks into the historic Bürgenstock Resort. The Qatari-owned resort sits 500 meters above the lake and can be reached by a 150-year-old funicular.
Lake Lucerne covers more than 100 square kilometres and is surrounded by mountains. Here, Lilly follows one of the popular hiking trails famous for its dramatic views.
