Hungary remembers late Prime Minister Imre Nagy
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán together with his wife, lay down white roses on the tomb. The Late Prime Minister Imre Nagy was a communist reformer but he was arrested and hanged on the 16 June in 1958 for his involvement during the revoultion in 1956.

Scientists say new law will put future of research under threat
Scientists in Hungary say a 200-year-old institution is under threat. The Academy of Sciences is a prestigious centre of research in the country, but academics are accusing Prime Minister Viktor Orban of attempting to interfere with the autonomy of the institution by changing its remit.
