BoE appoints Sarah Breeden in senior financial stability role

LONDON - The Bank of England said on Thursday it had appointed a new executive director for financial stability strategy and risk, Sarah Breeden, who will take a seat on the Financial Policy Committee.

Breeden, a long-serving member of staff and the BoE's current executive director for UK deposit takers supervision, will start her new role in the summer, with the exact dates to be confirmed, the BoE said in a statement.
