Industrial sites are being turned into eco-islands in Belgium to help promote biodiversity.

Around 15 businesses in Belgium have teamed up with environmental NGO Natagora to transform their working environments into wildlife havens as part of the ‘Nature Network’ project.

The project doesn’t just benefit the environment, however, as the increased exposure to nature is having a positive impact on employees’ wellbeing too.
