As a child, Alexandra Llewellyn learnt to play backgammon in the streets of Cairo with her stepfather and his friends. She felt the game was a wonderful way to transcend age difference and origins, like a common language. Today, Llewellyn and her team of designers create bespoke backgammon boards and custom-made game tables for the happy few including princes, passionate players and gentlemen. Each of her boards is a true piece of art completely tailored to her customer. She opens the door to her atelier set in East London and walked Living it behind the scene of her wonderful creative universe.
