Azerbaijani ceramicist Mir Teymur opens his doors to share l clay’s role as “first gold” and its creative legacy philosophy.
For Mir Teymur, clay is more than material, it is memory, creativity and history. His passion began in childhood, shaping playdough before discovering real clay at ten. Today, he has transformed his workshop into a free museum, open to anyone curious to learn.
Teymur believes every society needs creativity, whatever profession people choose. He mentors young artists, urging them to persist and value ideas above all. For him, history and modernity must coexist, with clay as the enduring link between past and future.
