A video has been released on Instagram to promote the newest film in the Star Wars saga. The 10-second clip was simply captioned: “There has been an awakening…” and features a vast army of Stormtroopers and close-ups of new characters, including Finn, played by John Boyega, holding a lightsaber.
The teaser is the third in a series of promotional videos released by the film’s creators. The second, released on YouTube in April, was confirmed by Guinness World Records as officially the most viewed film trailer in a 24-hour period after being watched 30 million times.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will be in cinemas December 18 this year.
