With its strategic location between Europe and East Asia, Kazakhstan plans to triple its aviation sector within a decade. 

A master plan with the International Civil Aviation Organization will guide development through 2050. International investors are pouring billions into major airports, transforming them into multimodal hubs. 

Public confidence is growing too—Air Astana, listed on three exchanges including London, has been named the region’s best airline by SKYTRAX for 14 consecutive years.  

Vice‑Minister Talgat Lastayev confirms multimodal expansion in Almaty and Aktau, with air taxis expected within five years, strengthening Kazakhstan’s role in regional transit.
