Veolia Environnement is intensifying its reorganisation.
The world’s largest water company has completed the sale of its solid waste unit in the United States. The transaction approved by the US justice department was between Veolia and ADS Waste Holdings for €1.5 billion euros.
7.7% of Veolia Environnement’s sales are in the United States where it will continue to expand its industrial and special waste businesses. Europe still represents more than three quarters of its sales.
