In front of a packed crowd, the artist caught the audience by surprise with a forceful defence of the Palestinian people and a denunciation of the severe humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
In response to the rapper, P!nk called the move opportunistic and circulated a message from the StopAntisemitism platform accusing the musician of spreading propaganda and suggesting that Ed Sheeran, with whom she was sharing the stage, should refund tickets.

Taking advantage of his first concert in the United States after the controversial sidelining of Macklemore, Ed Sheeran raised his voice this weekend in Philadelphia to denounce the situation in Gaza as "catastrophic, unjustifiable and disproportionate".
The US rapper, who had been performing as the opening act, was removed after delivering messages in favour of Palestine during the British musician’s 'Loop Tour'.
