Thick plumes drift above the skyline while damaged residential areas continue to burn. The video also shows firefighters and emergency crews working among the rubble of a heavily damaged building as rescue efforts continue following the strikes.

Ukrainian officials said at least eight people were killed and dozens more were injured after the strikes hit the capital. Authorities urged residents to remain in shelters during the assault, which followed President Volodymyr Zelensky’s warning that Russia was preparing a 'massive attack'.

Rescue teams continue to search damaged buildings for survivors.
