Greece tested a wide array of domestically developed drones and counter-drone systems in a major military drill near the northeastern city of Alexandroupolis.

Officers from several NATO countries observed as helicopters, infantry units and multiple drone types worked together in a high-intensity mock battle.

Defense Minister Nikos Dendias said the exercise signaled a new era for Greek-built unmanned systems as the country ramps up local production to reduce dependence on foreign suppliers.
