Israel has begun tearing down buildings destroyed by Iranian missile strikes during the recent 12-day war.

In Bat Yam, just south of Tel Aviv, a missile struck a residential building on the third day of the war, killing nine people, injuring around 200, and damaging hundreds of homes.

Israel said that Iran launched 550 missiles and over 1,000 drones, with 31 breaching air defences and killing 28 civilians while injuring more than 3,000.

The conflict displaced over 9,000 people and ended in a ceasefire, after Israel claimed to have killed Iranian commanders and targeted nuclear and military infrastructure.
