Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for "tough coercion of Russia to peace" after a series of strikes on Ukrainian cities in recent days.

Russian troops attacked Ukraine with dozens of drones and missiles overnight on Sunday, authorities said.
In addition to some 50 Shahed-type drones, an Onyx anti-ship missile and two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles were launched at Ukrainian territory, according to reports.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that they managed to neutralise 40 drones. The main areas of the strikes were the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
The day before, a number of Ukrainian cities became the target of Russian attacks.
The eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv was hit by several strikes using kamikaze drones, guided aerial bombs and missiles. According to the police, six people were killed and dozens were injured in the Kharkiv region in 24 hours.
"There is a central park nearby, where people were relaxing, and the Children's Railway, where employees were," said Oleg Sinegubov, head of the regional administration, at the site of one of the strikes.
Sinegubov said one person was killed in the strikes while three were injured and in critical condition.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned new Russian strikes, calling on international partners to "toughly coerce Russia to peace."
"Air bombs on civilians in the city - there is even a children's railway nearby," Zelenskyy wrote on social media. "This makes no military sense. Pure terrorism. And this has been going on for more than three years of a full-scale war."
"This cannot be ignored. We cannot turn a blind eye to this. And this is not some kind of game. Every day we lose our people only because Russia feels impunity. Russia needs tough coercion to peace," he concluded.
