Military helicopter crashes in Turkey's Istanbul - governor

ANKARA (Reuters) - A military helicopter crashed in a residential neighbourhood on the Asian side of Turkey's biggest city Istanbul on Monday, the city's governor said on Twitter.

The helicopter went down in an area of apartment buildings, Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya said. Television images showed smoke coming out of the area. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
