Hezbollah leader says 'not known' if more tunnels exist

Text size Aa Aa

BEIRUT (Reuters) – The leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah group said in an interview with al-Mayadeen TV on Saturday that Israel has discovered some tunnels at the border but that it “is not known” if more exist.

Israel’s discovery of what it called Hezbollah “attack tunnels” has raised tensions on the border, where Lebanon also accuses Israel of building a frontier barrier that crosses its own territory.
