At least three killed as fuel price demonstrations turn violent
Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa returning home early from a trip to Europe to deal with growing domestic unrest over his government’s policies.
Police say three people died during demonstrations that in the capital Harare and second city Bulawayo. But human rights groups say at least a dozen
were killed, while scores of people have been treated for gunshot wounds and hundreds
detained.
Nyasha Mutizwa from Africanews told Euronews that Zimbabweans had been warned to stay indoors because of fears of further violence.
