A bit steep?
A town in Wales is hoping to net the record for the world’s steepest street.
Residents in Harlech believe Ffordd Pen Llech is the street with the sharpest incline on the planet.
They think it is steeper than the 35% incline of Baldwin Street in Dunedin, New Zealand, the current record holder.
Measurements were taken on Wednesday and will be submitted to the Guinness World Records for consideration.
The street is one-way and only allows traffic to descend the hill, a restriction that is thought to thwart cyclists from attempting the gradient.
