George W Bush paid tribute to his father, former President George HW Bush during a state funeral.
George W Bush has paid tribute to his late father, former US President George H.W Bush at a state funeral on Wednesday.
The service was attended by world leaders in Washington including current US President Donald Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
In his eulogy, Bush, himself a former President, held back tears and described his father as "a great and noble man" and "the best father a son and daughter could have".
Bush senior died on Friday at the age of 94. He served as the 41st US president between 1989 and 1993.
He will be buried alongside his wife Barbara in his home state of Texas.
