Just 12 short months ago, Real Madrid were riding a wave of success. But fast forward to 2018 and it's a different story...

They're in the middle of one of their most disastrous seasons in recent history. With 19 games played, they're also 19 points behind league leaders and rivals, Barca. The latest blow was a crushing defeat against neighbours Leganes in the King's Cup. Facing the boot, coach Zinedine Zidane admitted responsibility.

"This is a failure to me today, I'm very disappointed and I'm going to accept responsibility for all of this but I'm going to continue working, tomorrow's another day. What we have to do is pick ourselves back up and think about the game on Saturday but today is a heavy blow, a very heavy blow."

The La Liga and European champions have lifted eight major trophies in the two years since Zizou has been at the helm, but none of that will matter if he doesn't turn things around.
