A tourist was killed and 12 other people were injured in a hot air balloon crash near Luxor in Egypt on Friday.
The balloon crashed to the west of the city of Luxor because of bad weather conditions, state-run news agency MENA reported.
The health ministry identified the dead person as a 36-year-old woman. Twelve people were injured, with two in a serious condition and being treated at Luxor International Hospital.
In 2013, 19 people died near Luxor after a hot air balloon caught fire and crashed due to a mid-air gas explosion.
