From surfing in Santa hats, to traditional masses and decorating a 210-foot cake, take a look at how people around the world celebrated Christmas

People around the world marked Christmas on Monday with celebrations ranging from the traditional to the wacky.

While for many, the Christian festival means attending mass, sharing presents and enjoying traditional feasts, for others it is more about surfing in Santa hats or joining friends and family for a dip in an ice cold lake.
