Italian astronaut, Paolo Nespoli, of the European Space Agency, has released time-lapse footage of the northern lights wrapping Earth. The video was produced with a series of night-time photos of the auroras while aboard the International Space Station.

Nespoli, Europe's oldest astronaut, is known for giving space fans something to see. He was treated to a pizza party with fellow crew members earlier this week after the 60-year-old revealed how much he missed the dish.
