Jacinda Ardern promised an ‘active administration’ as she was sworn in as Prime Minister of New Zealand (October 26).

The Labour MP hit the ground running with a pledge to renegotiate the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement in Vietnam in just two weeks’ time.

Ardern’s negotiations seek to give New Zealand the ability to ban foreign buyers from purchasing existing homes in the country.
