Istanbul's main Ataturk airport closed after jet crashes on runway

Istanbul’s main Ataturk airport was closed to traffic on Thursday (September 21) after a private jet crashed on the runway, according to Turkey’s Dogan news agency.

The jet, registered as TC-KON, crashed as it was landing.

There were no immediate reports of casualties.
