There was no animal fur in sight at Julien Macdonald’s Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear show, but the Welsh designer did apologise for using it in the past.

His catwalk at London’s Bankside Vaults instead had a clubby vibe to match its evening time slot.

The ‘parallel universe’-inspired range showcased green and cobalt outfits sporting intricate beadwork, crystal mesh and lace on sheath dresses.

Winnie Harlow, Martha Hunt and Alessandra Ambrosio were among the models showcasing his work.

Seventies suburbia played a key role in Anya Hindmarch’s London Fashion Week show. The British designer’s range was unveiled from a geometrically-printed house with flashing LED lights.

The intricate embroidery in the ‘Absurbia’ collection was complemented by playful handbags, outerwear and shoes, drawing from a palette of peach, avocado and sky blue
