Two armed women wearing nun habits attempted to rob a bank in Tannersville, Pennsylvania on Monday (August 28).

CCTV images show the suspects entering the bank carrying a black handgun before unsuccessfully threatening the bank clerk for money.

Both of them had their faces covered by white veils and one of them wore sunglasses.

They have, however, been identified as being Hispanic and measuring between 1m 52cm and 1m 57cm in height.

The two women are now wanted by both local police and the FBI.
