Neymar’s much hyped move from Barcelona to Paris St Germain is expected to be worth a whopping 222 million euros.

But the transfer is not yet the done deal.

Sources at the Catalan club say that PSG are hoping the transfer will be signed sealed and delivered by next week.

With that in mind, we are going to take a look at football’s biggest transfers.

Before Neymar’s touted move, Paul Pogba headed the list with his move from Juventus to Manchester United. The Old Trafford club shelved out 105 million euros for the services of the French international in 2016.

Real Madrid were so keen to sign Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur that they were willing to cough up 100 million euros, making the Welshman the third highest on the list.

Bale’s transfer managed to put Cristiano Ronaldo in the shade, something not many manage to do. Ronaldo’s move from Man United to Real in 2009 slipped to fourth on the list at 94 million euros.

Gonzalo Higuan rounds off our top five. The Argentinian was snapped up by Juventus. They paid fellow Serie A club Napoli 90 million euros.
