People paid their respects to the victims of the Manchester Arena attack, laying flowers and pausing for a moment of reflection at a site where tributes are being gathered in the city centre.
Stuffed toys, messages of unity and piles of flowers could be seen in St Ann’s Square as locals made their way to work.
