The Las Vegas strip was forced to close temporarily after a fire erupted at the world-famous Bellagio hotel.

Firefighters responded to the rooftop blaze at the luxury resort famous for its fountain display just before 11pm local time.

The Clark County Fire Chief said the fire’s location made access difficult but that it was under control within an hour.
