Marc Wilmots has been appointed head coach of the Ivory Coast.
The former Belgium international was previously the coach of his national side between 2012 and 2016 and lead the Red Devils to the World Cup in Brazil.
At the helm of the Elephants Wilmots replaces French Michel Dussuyer, who stepped down from the role after his side exited the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations at the group stage.
48-year-old Wilmots has signed a two-year contract with the Ivory Coast and has an option to renew.
His principle objective is to help his new side qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the Africa Cup of Nations the following year.
