Three members of the same family are among four people who have been killed by an avalanche in the French ski resort Tignes.
The bodies of a father, his two teenage sons and their experienced guide were recovered after the avalanche struck at around 11am local time in the off-piste area of Tovière.
A fifth person is being treated after being pulled from the snow by search teams.
