Sheep shearers from across the globe battle it out in New Zealand championship

Hundreds of competitors gathered in New Zealand on February 9 for the World Shearing and Woolhandling Championships.

Hopefuls from around the world turned up to try their luck in six categories including traditional blade shearing, machine shearing and wool handling.
