Cameroon have reached the final of the Africa Cup of Nations for a seventh time in their history after battling past the Black Stars of Ghana in Franceville, Gabon.

Michael Ngadeu Ngadjui took full advantage of a defensive mix up to break the deadlock on 72 minutes.

A stoppage-time effort from Christian Bassogog sealed a 2-0 victory for the four-times champions.

Cameroon will now face Egypt in Sunday’s final while Ghana, who were making a sixth successive semi-final appearance, take on Burkina Faso in the third place playoff.
