Norway have booked themselves a very first ticket to the final of the men’s world handball championship after beating 2003 champions and four-time finalists Croatia in the semi-finals.

The last four debutants were leading 12-10 at halftime but Croatia rallied back to send the tie into extra time at 22 all.

Norway then dominated down the final stretch to see out 28-25 victory

In Sunday’s final they will meet defending champions France who beat Slovenia in their semi and are now hunting a sixth title overall and a fourth from the past five editions.
