Rebels who broke siege of Aleppo come under air-attack

Rebel fighters in Aleppo in Syria have come under air-bombardment from pro-government forces.
On saturday, in a significant territorial gain, the rebels announced they had finally broken through the government siege to reconnect with insurgent areas in western Syria.
The pro-government siege began last month and rebels had been fighting to establish a road out of the city.
Videos appeared to show Syrians celebrating in the streets, although pro-government media outlets denied the siege had been broken.
Fierce fighting since has meant no safe passage has been established for residents, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
