Juventus have completed the signing of Argentina forward Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli after the Old Lady met the player’s buy out clause of 90 million euros.

The 28-year old had two years left on his Napoli contract.

The deal is a Serie A record and it’s expected to pave the way for Paul Pogba to join Manchester United.

Higuain has signed a four year contract with the reigning five-time Serie A champions and is set to earn him 7 million euros a season.

He top scored with a record 36 Serie A goals last season and becomes manager Massimiliano Allegri’s fifth signing of the summer following the aquisitions of Miralem Pjanic, Marko Pjaca (Piaza), Medhi Benatia and Dani Alves.
