The San Antonio Spurs edged out Oklahoma City to regain control of their best-of-7 series in the Playoffs.

After a nail-biting finish in Game 2, Game 3 also brought a lot of tension and drama as small forward Kawhi Leonard reigned supreme with 31 points and 11 rebounds.

In front of a packed Chesapeake Arena, the hosts overcame a poor start thanks their key player Russell Westbrook. The 27-year-old scored 31 points and put OKC ahead by four in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t to be as Gregg Popovich’s men stepped it up a gear in the dying minutes, eventually sealing a hard fought 100-96 win.

Spurs now lead the series 2-1 ahead of Game 4, which will take place in Oklahoma City on Sunday.
