An Italian nurse has been arrested on suspicion of killing 13 elderly patients. The nurse in her 50s worked at a hospital in Piombino in Tuscany

An Italian nurse has been arrested on suspicion of killing 13 elderly patients.

The nurse in her 50s worked at a hospital in Piombino in Tuscany where it is claimed patients died from drugs administered by drip or injection.

Victims’ families have not yet been informed that their relatives may have been murdered, police say.
