As Hollywood put the final touches this weekend to preparations for Sunday night’s Oscars ceremony, the movie industry has been abuzz with speculation about which movies and, which stars, would be the big winners.

Could tonight finally be Leonardo di Caprio’s night – the moment he finally holds the Best Actor Oscar in his hands?

Critics and industry experts have been saying it could well be set to be Leo’s year. He has won a Golden Globe and BAFTA for what critics have been describing as a career-defining performance in intense revenge drama ‘The Revenant.’

The movie has garnered more Oscar nods than any other this year. The 12 nominations include: Best Picture; Best Actor for Di Caprio, of course; and Best Director for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, who also took that prize last year for ‘Birdman.’
