Humanitarian organisation, Médécins Sans Frontières, says deadly attacks on a hospital it supports in Idlib province appear to have been deliberate.

Four missiles struck the facility in two assaults within minutes of each other, according to staff members.

“It’s clearly an attack against the medical mission. To be today a doctor or a nurse in the areas controlled by the opposition, it’s equal to be a criminal. Unfortunately, if you are a doctor and if you are working in hospital, clearly you are under attack by the Syrian regime,” said
Mego Terzian, President of MSF France.

Patients, a caretaker and a hospital guard were among those killed, while eight staff members are missing, presumed dead. MSF says the attacks leave some 40,000 people without access to medical services.
