Motorhead frontman Lemmy dies at 70 after short cancer battle

Lemmy, the hell-raising frontman of British rock band Motorhead, has died aged 70, just two days after finding out he had cancer. He had struggled with his health in recent years as decades of hard living took its toll. The band announced his death on its Facebook page, urging fans to celebrate the life of Lemmy – “our mighty, noble friend” by playing his music loud and and having “a drink or few”.
