Roads turn into rivers as Greek downpours hit Hydra

The mayor of Hydra has asked for the Greek island to be declared in a state of emergency after heavy rains caused widespread flooding.

Torrential downpours left the small island’s three main roads looking more like rivers as violent storms moved south from Athens.

No casualties have been reported.
